75' (22.86 m) of 1 1/2" (38.1 mm) Single-Jacket Fire Hose quickly moves large volumes of water, making it perfect for construction and industrial applications, including washdowns, irrigation, and filling pools. With a 1 1/2" (38.1 mm) inside diameter and a 150 PSI service pressure, this product is suitable as an occupant-use hose with hose stations in select Class II and Class III standpipe systems in accordance with NFPA 14 and local regulations.
Each of these 75' (22.86 m) Single-Jacket Fire Hoses is manufactured-to-order and stamped with the manufacturing date by Superior Fire Hose, a North Carolina-based manufacturer of durable, competitively-priced fire and industrial hose. Choose from three coupling styles, two coupling thread options, and abrasion-resistant coatings in eight colors (listed below). UL-listing is also available.
75' (22.86 m) of 1 1/2" (38.1 mm) Single-Jacket Fire Hose provides more length than 50-foot hose at a lower cost per foot and may be paired with another 75-foot hose for use as a high-rise bundle. Superior's jackets consist of both staple and filament polyester, combined in a seamless and defect-free weave. The single-jacket design is lighter and more flexible than double-jacket alternatives, but not preferred where frequent moving or chafing of the hose is likely. This hose is FM-approved and comes with Superior Fire Hose's ten year warranty. With great resistance to ozone, heat, and weathering, Superior's EPDM liners are extruded in their state-of-the-art facility and made to give more than double the jacket adhesion required by the National Fire Protection Association.
Fire hoses usually ship out in 5-10 days but large orders may take longer. High quantity discounts apply. Please contact us with large order inquiries so we can provide a custom quote, either by filling out our contact form or calling us at +1 (888) 361-6662.
Each Superior fire hose is Factory Mutual (FM) approved. An optional UL listing is available for this hose for applications which require a listed fire hose.
Choose from three coupling types for this Single-Jacket Fire Hose:
- Aluminum Rocker Lug Couplings
- Brass Rocker Lug Couplings
- Brass Pin Lug Couplings
Aluminum couplings are about one-third the weight of brass and almost twice as strong. Brass, while heavier, offers superior abrasion resistance. Pin-lug hose couplings, available only in brass, can be hand-tightened or secured with a spanner wrench, but may snag when pulled over rough surfaces. Rectangular rocker-lug couplings are beveled to help them pass over obstructions and are available in aluminum or brass.
This 150 PSI fire hose is available with two 1 1/2" (38.1 mm) coupling thread types:
- National Standard Threads (NST/NH)
- National Pipe Straight Hose Threads (NPSH/IPT)
National Standard Thread, or National Hose Thread, is the most widely-adopted thread size in the United States. National Pipe Straight Hose is used with discharge hose, low-pressure suction applications, and in other applications for water-based systems.
An optional, abrasion-resistant Steadfast Coating is available for this 75' (22.86 m) 150 PSI Fire Hose in eight different colors:
Environmentally safe, durable, and water-repellent, Superior's Steadfast Coating is specially formulated with polymers and binders that won't take away from the natural flexibility of the hose.
