With a 2 1/2" (63.5 mm) inside diameter and a 400 PSI service pressure, this product is suitable as an attack hose for two or more firefighters and is ideal for high-rise backpacks and other municipal firefighting applications in accordance with NFPA 1961.
Each of these 100' (30.48 m) Double-Jacket Fire Hoses is manufactured-to-order and stamped with the manufacturing date by Superior Fire Hose, a North Carolina-based manufacturer of durable, competitively-priced fire and industrial hose. Choose from three coupling styles, two coupling thread types, one additional UL-listing, and abrasion-resistant coatings in eight colors (listed below).
100' (30.48 m) of 2 1/2" (63.5 mm) Double-Jacket 400 PSI Fire Hose provides the length of two 50 foot hoses without the extra couplings, lowering weight and making the hose less likely to snag. Superior's jackets consist of both staple and filament polyester, combined in both warp and weft direction and distributed around the circumference for excellent pressure containment. The double-jacket design adds an extra layer of protection from burns, UV rays, chafing, and damage, extending the hose's service life and preventing catastrophic hose bursts under pressure. This hose is FM-approved and comes with Superior Fire Hose's ten year warranty. With great resistance to ozone, heat, and weathering, Superior's EPDM liners are extruded in their state-of-the-art facility and made to give more than double the jacket adhesion required by the National Fire Protection Association.

Choose from three coupling types for this Double-Jacket Fire Hose:
- Aluminum Rocker Lug Couplings
- Brass Rocker Lug Couplings
- Brass Pin Lug Couplings
Aluminum couplings are about one-third the weight of brass and almost twice as strong. Brass, while heavier, offers superior abrasion resistance. Pin-lug hose couplings, available only in brass, can be hand-tightened or secured with a spanner wrench, but may snag when pulled over rough surfaces. Rectangular rocker-lug couplings are beveled to help them pass over obstructions and are available in aluminum or brass.
