These fire sprinkler head guards help protect fire sprinklers from impact damage from a variety of causes in a variety of settings – flying balls in a gym, forklifts in a warehouse, or vandalism in an arena. These fire sprinkler head guards hook around 1/2 in. or 3/4 in. NPT fire sprinklers with a latch. Made of a durable metal wire, these guards, sometimes called fire sprinkler cages, protect from light to hard hits to prevent damage and/or accidental activation.

Any place with a high risk for impact/damage to a protruding fire sprinkler is recommended to have a head guard. That typically includes hotels, schools, gyms, warehouses, or any place with low headroom or clearance. These head guards are available as recessed, non-recessed, and non-recessed with a baffle. The baffle is designed for use in a storage facility and prevents water from nearby sprinklers from contacting the heat element on the fire sprinkler it is installed with. These sprinkler cages are available in red, white, and chrome.
