Senju ZN-UF (SS2531) Pendent Sprinkler Head

This Senju Model ZN-UF Standard Response Black Flush Pendent Fire Sprinkler features a fusible link activating at 162F (72C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each standard response head features a bronze frame and copper alloy deflector. The manufacturer part number is 002-0431 and the Sprinkler Identification Number (SIN) is SS2531.

The Model ZN-UF Flush Pendent Sprinklers delivers decorative, affordable defense against fire in ordinary-temperature applications. Using a heat-activated fusible metal assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 162F (72C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

Each ZN-UF sprinkler is made by Senju, Japan's largest manufacturer of fire-suppression products. This flush pendent fire sprinkler head maintains UL Listing, FM Approval, and NYC MEA136-04-E.

The SS2531 is a standard coverage sprinkler and is cULus listed and FM approved for use when installed in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements for wet pipe sprinkler systems and designed for use in Commercial occupancies. This Flush Pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) FM and UL Listed and connects to wet pipe sprinkler systems.

Senju ZN-UF (SS2531) Pendent Sprinkler Installation and Other Information

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.

This flush pendent sprinkler features a black finish and a 162F (72C) temperature. All available finishes include Chrome, White, and Black. Temperature options include 162F (72C), 205F (96C), and 282F (139C) (UL Listed only). Finish and temperature combinations available in the “Options” section at the top of this product page.
