Senju RC-RES (SS8361) Residential 3.0K Concealed Pendent Sprinkler

This Senju Model RC-RES Residential Lead-Free 3.0K Concealed Pendent fire sprinkler features a fusible link activating at 162F (72C) with a 3.0 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each concealed pendent sprinkler head features a Copper Alloy Body and Bronze Deflector. This sprinkler was designed to be covered by a Senju RC cover plate, allowing for optimal aesthetics within residential settings. The manufacturer part number is 001-2801 and the Sprinkler Identification Number (SIN) is SS8361.

The Model RC-RES Residential Sprinkler delivers decorative, affordable defense against fire and is designed for use in residential occupancies such as homes, apartments, dormitories, and hotels. Using a heat-activated fusible metal assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 162F (72C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin. This model has a 3.0 K-factor, enabling smaller pipe sizes and water supply in a residential fire sprinkler system. This sprinkler is lead-free.

The SS8361 is a residential sprinkler and is cULus listed for use when installed in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements for wet pipe sprinkler systems and designed for use in residential occupancies. This concealed pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) UL Listed and connects to ceiling wet piping systems.

Senju RC-RES (SS8361) Residential Concealed Fire Sprinkler Head Installation and Other Information

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.

This flat concealed sprinkler head is available at a temperature of 162F (72C) and 205F (96C) and must be paired with a Senju RC Cover Plate. These cover plates come in a variety of finishes: White, Ivory, Beige, Brown, Black, Nickel, Copper, and 5 Wood Grain variants (Douglas Fir, Cherry Chestnut, Golden Oak, Yellow Birch, and Dark Walnut).
