What Victaulic sprinkler models are compatible with which escutcheons?
Victaulic, like other manufacturers, specifies which escutcheons match specific sprinklers. It also provides a handy code where the escutcheon model designation typically matches the first letters of a sprinkler head’s sprinkler identification number (SIN). For example, V27 recessed escutcheons are used with several sprinkler models, including V2705, V2706, V2707, V2708, V2709, V2710, V2738, and V2740 sprinklers. Similarly, V34 escutcheons match sprinklers with those letters starting the SIN. Nevertheless, compatibility should always be verified using the sprinkler’s current technical data sheet.
How much vertical adjustment do Victaulic escutcheons provide?
Depending on the model, many Victaulic escutcheons provide either 1/2 in. or 3/4 in. of adjustment. This adjustment range helps compensate for ceiling or wall thickness and minor installation variations while maintaining a clean recessed appearance.
