Monday October 16, 2023: New England Manufacturing has informed us that their 45-Degree Flow Nozzle Elbows currently have a lead time of 6 weeks. Expect delays until early December.

Thursday October 5, 2023: Effective today, SDi, distributor of Detector Testing Equipment, including smoke and CO detector testing, has announced a price increase on various products in this category. These products are subject to various price increases, ranging from a few cents to several hundred dollars.

 

Monday July 31, 2023: Effective today, QRFS will no longer offer Check Key products due to unknown production timelines. We hope this changes in the future. Any customer with a backorder for Check Key products will receive a full refund. 

 

Monday July 17, 2023: Due to rail strikes in Canada, certain FDC, hose valve, cap and chain, and plug and chain, products may experience longer than usual backorders. We sincerely apologize for this inconvenience. Our customer success team will communicate backorders with impacted customers in a timely fashion.

 

Monday July 17, 2023: Due to a change in UPS rate calculating API on July 12, 2023, QRFS was displaying higher-than-normal shipping rates to our customers. Our team identified the issue and has resolved it as of today. We're terribly sorry for the inconvenience. 

 

Wednesday January 11, 2023: Viking Fire Sprinkler will be implementing a price increase as of February 7, 2023. The increase will be approximately 7-10% for all Viking products. 

 

Wednesday January 11, 2023: Triple R test pumps will have a price increase on February 1, 2023. The expected increase is between 10-15%. 

 

Tuesday January 10, 2023: QRFS will no longer offer Buckeye brand fire extinguishers or brackets. All items are now on sale. Once we run out of stock, we will remove them from our storefront. 

 

Monday August 1, 2022: The 809 and 808 Hydrant Test Kits have been discontinued.

 

Monday July 25, 2022: Due to continued price adjustments from our manufacturers and suppliers driven by raw material volatility and freight increases, QRFS will be adjusting our prices as of July 31, 2022. All orders received on or before July 30, 2022, will be processed at current prices. Price increases will average approximately 10% for vendors issuing a price increase and 0% for vendors who have not issued any adjustments. Thank you for your understanding.

 

Tuesday July 19, 2022: Safe Signal, previously System Sensor, has announced a price increase effective August 1, 2022. This price increase impacts all Safe Signal fire protection products including waterflow detectors, tamper switches, pressure switches, and so on.

 

Friday July 15, 2022: Johnson Controls Fire Suppression, owner of Tyco and manufacturer of many fire protection system components, has announced a new price increase effective August 15, 2022. This will impact all water and mechanical items, except CPVC.

 

Wednesday July 6, 2022: Reliable Automatic Sprinkler Co., Inc., has announced a price increase on all Reliable manufactured items effective July 29, 2022. This will impact fire sprinklers, valves, replacement parts, and special hazard/special system components.
