The Tyco™ Model TY-FRB EC Horizontal Sidewall Sprinkler is a Quick Response, Extended Coverage sprinkler designed for effective fire protection. It activates at 155°F (68°C) with a 5.6 K-Factor. Each sidewall head includes a heat-sensitive 3 mm glass bulb, Standard 1/2 in. NPT threads, and a Brass frame with Copper deflector.
This is a quick response, extended coverage, horizontal sidewall sprinkler with a maximum working water pressure of 175 PSI. Using its heat-activated glass bulb assembly, the sprinkler automatically opens when ambient temperatures reach 155°F (68°C), delivering water across the hazard area to contain and suppress fire.
The TY3332 is installed as a horizontal sidewall using Tyco™’s approved Style 10 or Style 20 recessed escutcheons. Always refer to the manufacturer’s data sheet for complete installation instructions and use only Tyco™ approved escutcheons.

Installation:
Over-tightening can damage the 1/2 in. NPT threads or the sprinkler itself. Always use the manufacturer-approved installation wrench (W-Type 6 or W-Type 7) and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). -
Care:
Do not install sprinklers that appear damaged. Store in a clean, dry environment prior to installation. Always follow the manufacturer’s data sheet for detailed handling, storage, and installation instructions.
