Phoenix™ Small Breakable Lock with Key & Break Shackle
This Small Breakable Lock, manufactured by Phoenix™, includes a break shackle and key to safely secure components in a fire sprinkler or standpipe system to ensure their integrity and prevent unauthorized tampering. This breakable lock is 2-1/4 in. x 1-1/2 in., made of steel, and feature a brass finish. Each box contains a lock, key, and break shackle. All locks are keyed alike.
Why are Breakable Locks Necessary?
Breakable locks are designed to provide visual evidence of tampering or unauthorized access. They break easily when force is applied so the authorized personnel have quick and easy access, but once the lock is broken or removed, it indicates that someone has accessed the secured component or device.
