Machined from durable cast-brass, this adapter allows two female fittings to connect for use with mismatched fire hose couplings, valves, supply hose, attack hose, or nozzles.

These adapters include both National Pipe Thread and National Standard Thread, and are especially useful when conducting mutual-aid operations in another city or county with different thread standards, and can be tightened or loosened easily using the hex-shaped wrench boss.
