Overview
Hydraulic System Sign is an NFPA 13-compliant red powder-coated 18-gauge aluminum (.040 aluminum) sign designed to demonstrate that a fire sprinkler system has met system acceptance requirements. This 5 in. (127 mm) x 7 in. (177.8 mm) sign reads 'Hydraulic System' in white letters at least one inch (25.4 mm) in height.
This Hydraulic System sign must be placed at the alarm valve, dry pipe valve, preaction valve, or deluge valve supplying the corresponding hydraulically designed area in accordance with NFPA 13. This sign allows fire sprinkler system installers to indicate six critical pieces of information in accordance with NFPA 13: the location of the design area or areas, discharge densities, the designed discharge area, required flow, residual pressure demand, and the number of sprinklers. This sign is drilled with four (4) holes for easy hanging.
