Keep your building compliant with a spare head cabinet – every building should have spare fire sprinkler heads in case of emergency! Fire sprinkler systems installed in accordance with NFPA 13 and NFPA 25 should have a supply of at least 6 spare fire sprinkler heads for a system with 300 or fewer sprinklers, 12 spare fire sprinkler heads for a system with 300 to 1000 fire sprinklers, and 24 fire sprinklers for a system with 1000 or more fire sprinklers.

This specific cabinet allows for storage of up to 36 spare heads, able to fit 1/2 in. NPT fire sprinkler heads, or, using the “knockouts,” 3/4 in. NPT heads. Your spare heads should have the same characteristics as the ones installed in your system: head type, orifice size, temperature rating, deflector type, and other design requirements.

This fire sprinkler spare head cabinet is constructed of durable rolled steel and has a powder-coated red finish. It includes a full-length hinge and is slotted for easy mounting with screws, rivets, or strapping.

This spare head cabinet is available in multiple sizes – options include 3, 6, 12, 24, and 36 spare 1/2 in. or 3/4 in. heads, and 6 spare 3/4 in. or 1 in. heads for sprinkler systems with Early Suppression Fast Response (ESFR) heads.
