This Reliable™ Model G Pendent Fire Sprinkler is a standard coverage Pendent fire sprinkler head, activating at 212F (100C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and is rated for All Hazard occupancies (Light, Ordinary, Extra). Each Pendent head features a heat-sensitive fusible link assembly, standard 1/2 in. NPT threads, and a brass frame with a brass deflector.
This is a standard response, standard coverage, Pendent sprinkler with a maximum working water pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR). The R1015 Model G Sprinkler features a low profile and compact design. Using a heat-activated fusible link assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach the sprinkler’s listed activation temperature, drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

When using Reliable™ Pendent Sprinkler R1015 for systems designed to NFPA standards, apply the listed areas of coverage and minimum water supply requirements shown in the manufacturer datasheet. This Pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR) and connects to wet piping systems.
Reliable™ (R1015) G Pendent Sprinkler Installation and Other Information
The R1015 Pendent Sprinkler is installed exposed, surface mounted, or recessed in the Pendent orientation. Refer to the manufacturer data sheet for installation instructions with the approved Reliable™ accessories. During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional installation and storage information.
Notes (From Manufacturer Datasheet):
1. 286°F (141°C) temperature rated sprinklers not approved for recessed installations.
2. FM Approval of Model G Recessed sprinkler for ordinary and extra hazard occupancies is limited to wet pipe systems only.
3. Not suitable for recessed installations.
Model G Series standard spray upright and pendent sprinklers having K-factors of 5.6 (80) and higher are permitted to be used in all occupancy classifications and building construction types unless otherwise noted. Model G Series standard spray upright and pendent sprinklers having K-factors less than 5.6 (80) are limited to light hazard occupancies.
Available finish options include Brass, White, and Chrome.
Only frame and deflector are coated, operating parts are chrome plated.

The R1015 listed wrenches include the approved Reliable™ Model W2 and Reliable™ Model RC1 (recessed). Add the correct wrench for your R1015 installation.
