Reliable Model G Standard Response Upright (R1027) Fire Sprinkler Head

This Upright sprinkler features a Brass finish and 165F (74C) temperature.

This Reliable Model G Upright Fire Sprinkler is a standard coverage Upright fire sprinkler head, activating at 165F (74C) with a 8.0 K-Factor, and is rated for All Hazard occupancies (Light, Ordinary, Extra). Each Upright head features a heat-sensitive fusible link assembly, standard 3/4 in. NPT threads, and a brass frame with a brass deflector.

This is a standard response, standard coverage, Upright sprinkler with a maximum working water pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR). The R1027 Model G Sprinkler features a low profile and compact design. Using a heat-activated fusible link assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach the sprinkler’s listed activation temperature, drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

This Upright sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR) and connects to wet piping systems.

Reliable (R1027) G Upright Sprinkler Installation and Other Information

The R1027 Upright Sprinkler is installed exposed in the Upright orientation. Refer to the manufacturer data sheet for installation instructions with the approved Reliable accessories. During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 3/4 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional installation and storage information.

Model G Series standard spray upright and pendent sprinklers having K-factors of 5.6 (80) and higher are permitted to be used in all occupancy classifications and building construction types unless otherwise noted. Model G Series standard spray upright and pendent sprinklers having K-factors less than 5.6 (80) are limited to light hazard occupancies.

Available finish options include Brass and Chrome.
Only frame and deflector are coated, operating parts are chrome plated.
