The Reliable™ Model GFR Upright fire sprinkler (SIN R3123) is a quick response, standard spray sprinkler designed to provide dependable fire protection in light and ordinary hazard applications. Part number GFRU7B features a 4.2 K-factor (60 metric) and a 165°F (74°C) temperature-rated 3.0 mm glass bulb housed within a durable bronze finish frame, offering both reliability and corrosion resistance for exposed installations.
When ambient temperature near the sprinkler reaches its rated operating point, the heat-sensitive glass bulb activates, releasing the sealing assembly to discharge water through the upright frame and across the deflector. This produces a uniform, standard spray pattern that helps control or suppress fires quickly and efficiently. The sprinkler connects with a 1/2-inch NPT thread (ISO 7-1 R1/2 optional) and is designed for use in wet pipe sprinkler systems following NFPA 13 and the applicable listings and approvals.
