This Reliable™ Model F1Res Residential Pendent Fire Sprinkler is a standard coverage Residential Pendent fire sprinkler head, activating at 175F (79C) with a 4.9 K-Factor, and is rated for Residential Hazard. Each Pendent head features a heat-sensitive glass bulb assembly, standard 1/2 in. NPT threads, and a brass frame with a brass deflector.
This is a fast response, standard coverage, Pendent sprinkler with a maximum working water pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR). The R3516 Model F1Res Sprinkler features a low profile and compact design. Using a heat-activated fusible link assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach the sprinkler’s listed activation temperature, drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

The F1Res Series sprinklers are specially engineered for fast thermal response to meet the requirements of UL 1626. They are intended for installation in accordance with NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D. Refer to the datasheet for listings and approvals in specific temperatures and/or applications.
When using Reliable™ Pendent Sprinkler R3516 for systems designed to NFPA standards, apply the listed areas of coverage and minimum water supply requirements shown in the manufacturer datasheet. This Pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR) and connects to wet piping systems.
Reliable™ (R3516) F1Res49 Pendent Sprinkler Installation and Other Information
The R3516 Pendent Sprinkler is installed exposed or recessed in the Pendent orientation. Refer to the manufacturer data sheet for installation instructions with the approved Reliable™ accessories. During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 8-18 ft-lbs (11 – 24 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional installation and storage information.
Available finish options include Brass, Chrome, and White.
White Polyester (White) Coating is cULus Listed Corrosion Resistant.

The R3516 listed Recessed Escutcheons include the approved Reliable™ Model F1 and Model F2.
