Senju RC-QR-EC (SS3561) Quick Response Extended Coverage Concealed Pendent Sprinkler

This Senju Model RC-QR-EC Concealed Pendent Extended Coverage fire sprinkler features a fusible link activating at 162F (72C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each concealed pendent sprinkler head features a Copper Alloy Body and Phosphorus Bronze Deflector. This sprinkler was designed to be covered by a Senju RC cover plate, allowing for optimal aesthetics and proper function within residential settings. The Model RC-QR-EC delivers decorative, affordable defense against fire and is designed for use in commercial occupancies. The SS3561 is a commercial sprinkler and is cULus listed for use when installed in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements for wet pipe sprinkler systems and designed for use in residential occupancies. This Concealed Pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) UL Listed and connects to ceiling wet piping systems.

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.

This concealed sprinkler head is available in 162F (72C) and must be paired with a Senju RC Cover Plate. These cover plates come in a variety of temperatures: 140F (60C) and 162F (72) (Use 140F for RC-QR-EC); shapes: Round and Square (white only); and finishes: White, Ivory, Nickel, Beige, Brown, Black, Copper, and multiple Wood Grain options. These are to be purchased with the sprinkler head – while adding a cover contributes to a residential fire sprinkler cost, it ensures the functionality while maintaining an aesthetically pleasing and discreet appearance.
