Tyco LFII (TY3596) Residential Concealed Fire Sprinkler Head

This Tyco LFII Residential Concealed Pendent fire sprinkler features a fusible link activating at 160F (71C) with a 4.9 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each concealed pendent sprinkler head features a brass body and brass deflector. This sprinkler was designed to be covered by a Tyco LFII cover plate, allowing for optimal aesthetics and proper function in a residential setting. The LFII Sprinkler delivers decorative, affordable defense against fire. Using a heat-activated fusible link assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 160F (71C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin. This model has a 4.9 K-factor. These sprinklers are designed for residential occupancies such as homes, apartments, dormitories, and hotels.

Each LFII concealed sprinkler is made by Tyco, a global leader in fire-suppression products. This concealed fire sprinkler head maintains UL and C-UL Listing for wet and dry pipe systems.

The TY3596 is a residential sprinkler and is cULus listed for use when installed in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements for wet and dry pipe sprinkler systems and designed for use in residential areas. This concealed pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) UL Listed and connects to wet or dry piping systems.

Tyco LFII (TY3596) Residential Concealed Pendent Sprinkler Head Installation and Other Information

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.

This concealed sprinkler head is available at temperatures of 160 (71C) or 212F (100C) and must be paired with a Tyco LFII Cover Plate. These 139F (59C) or 165F (74C) cover plates come in a variety of finishes: Ivory, Bright Chrome, Beige, Signal White, Grey White, Brown, Black, Brushed Brass, and Brushed Chrome. Along with the required Cover Plate, TY3596 listed accessories include the W-Type 18 sprinkler wrench, manufacturer part number (56-000-1-265).
