This Pendent sprinkler features a Brass finish and a 155°F (68°C) temperature.
This Tyco™ Model TY-B Pendent Fire Sprinkler is a standard response, standard coverage sprinkler, activating at 155°F with a 8.0 K-Factor. Each pendent head features a heat-sensitive 5 mm glass bulb, Standard 1/2 in. NPT threads, and a Bronze frame with Copper deflector.
This is a standard response, standard coverage, pendent sprinkler with a maximum working water pressure of 175 PSI. Using a heat-activated glass bulb, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 155°F, effectively containing the spread of fire.
The TY4951 is installed as a pendent using Tyco™’s approved Style 10 recessed escutcheon (if recessed installation is required). Refer to the manufacturer data sheet for installation instructions with the approved Tyco™ escutcheon(s).

The Tyco™ Pendent Sprinkler TY4951 is designed for NFPA 13. Apply the listed areas of coverage and minimum water supply requirements as shown in the datasheet. This Pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) and connects to wet pipe fire protection systems.
Tyco™ TY4951 Automatic Fire Sprinkler Installation and Accessories
During installation, be aware that over-tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer-approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional installation and storage information.
