Victaulic FireLock FL-RES/DC (V2742) Residential Concealed Pendent Fire Sprinkler Head

This Victaulic FL-RES/DC Residential Concealed Pendent Fire Sprinkler features a glass bulb activating at 155F (68C) with a 4.9 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each concealed pendent head features a brass frame and bronze deflector. This sprinkler was designed to be covered by a Victaulic V27 domed cover plate, allowing for optimal aesthetics and proper function in residential settings. The manufacturer part number is S271NCQH10, and the Sprinkler Identification Number (SIN) is V2742. In 2019, Victaulic purchased fire sprinkler company Globe. The Globe Equivalent to this sprinkler is GL4947.

This model has a 4.9 K-factor, enabling smaller pipe sizes and water supply in a residential fire sprinkler system.

Victaulic FL-RES/DC (V2742) Concealed Sprinkler Head Installation and Other Information

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.

This residential concealed pendent sprinkler head is available at a 155F (68C) temperature and must be paired with a Victualic V27 Domed Cover Plate. These 135F (57C) cover plates come in a variety of finishes: Chrome Plated, White Painted, Bright White Painted, and Flat Black Painted.
