This Viking™ VK962 Horizontal Sidewall Window Sprinkler is a Quick Response, Standard coverage Horizontal Sidewall fire sprinkler head, activating at 155F (68C) with a 5.6 K-Factor. This Horizontal Sidewall sprinkler head is rated for Light Hazard occupancies only. Each Horizontal Sidewall head features a heat-sensitive glass bulb assembly, standard 1/2 in. NPT threads, and a brass frame with a bronze deflector.
This is a Quick Response Viking™ Horizontal Sidewall sprinkler with a maximum working water pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR). The VK962 Sprinkler offers reliable fire protection with a sleek, unobtrusive profile. Using a heat-activated glass bulb assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach the sprinkler’s listed activation temperature, drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

This Horizontal Sidewall sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR) and connects to wet piping systems.
Viking™ (VK962) Horizontal Sidewall Sprinkler Installation and Other Information
The VK962 Horizontal Sidewall Sprinkler is installed surface mounted in the Horizontal Sidewall orientation. Refer to the manufacturer data sheet for installation instructions with the approved Viking™ accessories. During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional installation and storage information.
Available finish options include Brass, Chrome, White, and Black.
Temperature options include 155F (68C), 200F (93C).
