Viking BlazeMaster™ 2 in. x 1-1/4 in. SPGXS CPVC Bushing
This Viking BlazeMaster™ Bushing is manufactured from high-quality, corrosion-resistant chlorinated polyvinyl chloride (CPVC) thermoplastic. Designed specifically for fire sprinkler systems, this SPGXS CPVC fitting is used to connect sections of fire sprinkler pipe and maintain proper system flow. Viking CPVC fire sprinkler products provide a range of advantages over traditional metal systems, including smoother interior surfaces for superior hydraulics, ease of handling, and quicker assembly using readily available tools. BlazeMaster™ CPVC technology has a proven performance history of more than 40 years in fire protection. This fitting features SPGXS and is suitable for both new system installations and approved retrofits.
Applications and Compatibility
This Bushing is intended for use in wet pipe fire sprinkler systems for light hazard occupancies per NFPA 13, 13R, and 13D standards, when approved by the Authority Having Jurisdiction (AHJ). It is compatible with SDR 13.5 CPVC fire sprinkler pipe and is designed in accordance with: ASTM F438 for sizes 3/4 in. to 1-1/4 in. (Schedule 40) ASTM F439 for sizes 1-1/2 in. to 3 in. (Schedule 80)

Installation & Storage Guidelines
Install Viking BlazeMaster™ CPVC products using UL-listed and/or FM-approved solvent cements. These products should be stored indoors in original packaging, away from direct sunlight and chemical contaminants such as edible oils, petroleum products, and materials containing plasticizers (e.g., electrical tape or wire insulation). Failure to follow proper storage and installation practices may result in product damage, voided warranty, or system failure.

Do not expose this product to incompatible chemicals, including oils, esters, ketones, or petroleum-based substances. Consult chemical compatibility documentation before use.
