Pitot Gauge Kit with Plastic Blades is the most accurate, efficient and economical way to measure discharge from fire hose nozzles, fire hydrants, or other open orifices. Includes two plastic pitot blades—one straight blade and one notched blade—and a machined-brass round-handle tube.
Brass quick-connect fittings join the included gauge to the tube with stainless steel locking balls, making it easy to rotate the gauge with little torque required.
This Pitot Gauge Kit with Plastic Blades includes a 2 1/2" (63.5 mm) dial with a 1/4" (6.35 mm) NPT pressure connection. Gauge readings can be converted to GPM using a pitot gauge theoretical discharge conversion table.
Each gauge is liquid-filled and available in one of eight dial ranges:

The pitot tube in each Pitot Gauge Kit with Plastic Blades has a built-in air chamber to negate any need for an air bleeder. This chamber also dampers gauge needle movements under pulsation for enhanced accuracy.
The Pitot Gauge Kit with Plastic Blades also includes a roll of thread seal tape, and a foam-lined carrying case. For $40 more, the included 2 1/2" (63.5 mm) pressure gauge arrives tested and certified to standards established by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) to meet the exacting standards of accuracy demanded by clients in the U.S. Navy, Army, and aviation industries, amongst others.
Pitot Gauge Theoretical Discharge Conversion Table. Used to convert PSI readings to GPM. Conversion accuracy depends on an accurate measurement of outlet size and the nozzle or outlet coefficient.
