Senju FR-QR (SS2551) Quick Response Pendent Sprinkler

This Senju Model FR-QR Quick Response Brass Pendent Fire Sprinkler features a fusible link activating at 205 (96C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each quick response head features a DZR brass frame and phosphor bronze deflector. The manufacturer part number is 002-5072 and the Sprinkler Identification Number (SIN) is SS2551.

The Model FR-QR Pendent Sprinkler delivers effective, affordable defense against fire in light or ordinary-temperature applications. Using a heat-activated fusible metal assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 205 (96C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin. Each FR-QR sprinkler is made by Senju, Japan's largest manufacturer of fire-suppression products. This pendent fire sprinkler head maintains UL Listing and is FM Approved.

The SS2551 is a Quick Response Standard Coverage sprinkler and is cULus listed and FM approved (No escutcheon and D1 Escutcheon only, excl. 286F head with D1 Escutcheon) for use when installed in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements for wet pipe sprinkler systems and designed for use in Commercial occupancies. This pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) FM and UL Listed and connects to ceiling wet piping systems.

Senju FR-QR (SS2551) Pendent Sprinkler Head Installation and Other Information

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.

This pendent sprinkler features a brass finish and a 205 (96C) temperature. Available finish options include Brass, White, Black, and Chrome.
