Quick Disconnect Double Ball Bleeder Valve for Pressure Test Cap
This Quick Disconnect Double Ball Bleeder Valve is designed for use with pressure test caps during static pressure tests of fire hydrants, hose, and more. This valve is designed to release trapped air or debris from water-based systems. Opening the ball valve permits bleeding, while closing the valve directs pressure to a mounted gauge (sold separately). With the bleeder open, begin flowing water. After purging air and debris, close the ball valve to direct the flow to the gauge. When testing concludes, protect your gauge against over pressurization by re-opening the ball valve before shutting off the supply of water.
Made of Brass, this cap features a 1/4 in. NPT that connects to the inlet on the test cap so pressure does not build up and damage the attached gauge. This bleeder valve is compatible with our full line of pressure test caps designed for static pressure tests. Single-ball-valve bleeders allow users to direct flow to a pressure gauge or to a bleeder using only one ball valve, while double-ball-valve bleeders use two ball valves to control gauge and discharge outlets separately.
