Overview

3/4 in. (19.1 mm) NST Brass Test Cap with 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) NPT Gauge Inlet is designed for flow tests and static pressure tests at 3/4 in. (19.1 mm) spigots, sillcocks, faucets, garden hose outlets, and other threaded outlets. Machined from solid brass, this test cap can be paired with a gauge or used to flow water out of the 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) bleeder.

3/4 in. (19.05 mm) NST Brass Test Cap with 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) NPT gauge inlet is compatible with gauges in a range of sizes and pressures, including our line of air and water pressure gauges. Directly connecting a pressure gauge to the test cap is not recommended during static pressure tests. Bleeder valves (sold separately) can safely release excess pressure to prevent damage to gauges.

3/4 in. (19.05 mm) NST Brass Test Cap with 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) NPT gauge inlet is compatible with our full line of 1/4 in. (6.35 mm) bleeder valves designed for static pressure tests. Single-ball-valve bleeders allow users to direct flow to a pressure gauge or to a bleeder using only one ball valve, while double-ball-valve bleeders use two ball valves to control gauge and discharge outlets separately. Quick-disconnect bleeders feature Parker Hannafin's high-quality quick-disconnect fittings to protect pressure gauges against unnecessary wear during installation and removal.
