Tru-Test Hydrostatic Test Pump (120 Volt AC) contains everything needed for hydrostatic testing of standpipes, fire sprinklers, fire sprinkler system plumbing, and other water-based systems in a portable, durable metal case. This electric pump delivers up to 250 PSI of pressure and up to 2.2 GPM with a 6' (1.83 m) electric cord, eliminating the need for a portable power source.
This 120VAC Tru-Test Hydrostatic Test Pump includes a silicon-filled gauge, stabilizing the gauge needle for better performance and longer product life in pulsating or vibrating environments. Brass piping provides this pump with greater corrosion-resistance and lighter weight than pumps built with galvanized steel pipe, giving this kit a surprisingly light weight of only 22 pounds.
Each 120V AC Tru-Test Hydrostatic Test Pump is sufficient for small and medium-scale fire safety applications, including fire sprinkler and standpipe acceptance and revision testing, and can be used for small-scale water transfers or vent line filling in carpet cleaning, water-damage restoration, and other plumbing applications. The swiveled inlet connection and 5' (1.5 m) inlet hose make connecting a water source easy from any angle.
The built-in full-flow bypass system guarantees that the 12V Tru-Test Hydrostatic Test Pump pump stays within pressure limits. This pump also features an in-line check valve to prevents backflow to municipal or other water sources, a suction-side strainer that filters debris and minimizes flooding, and 10' (3 m) of outlet hose with quick-disconnect couplings for demonstrating to fire officials that the system is maintining pressure.
