Ball Drip Valves 3/4 in. for Fire Protection Systems
This 3/4 in. IPS durable cast brass Ball Drip Valve provides reliable defense against system damage caused by ice in water-based systems, specifically fire protection/fire sprinkler systems and standpipes. With a rated working water pressure of 200 PSI, this gravity-operated valve drains the lowest system point between the Fire Department Connection (FDC) and check valve in fire protection systems, in order to prevent moisture from accumulating on the dry side of the FDC. It features two 3/4 in. IPS connections, with a stainless-steel ball that closes the valve under pressure and prevents leaks during system activation. Gravity returns the ball to the open position as water flow stops.
