4 in. NPT x NPT Check Valves for Fire Protection Systems
This 4 in. NPT x NPT durable brass Check Valve is ready for service in water-based systems, specifically fire protection/fire sprinkler systems and standpipes. With a rated working water pressure of 300 PSI, this valve provides a watertight defense against pollution & contamination caused by backflow. This check valve can be installed vertically or horizontally on a supply line, fire department connection (FDC), fire pump discharge or gravity tank connection in accordance with NFPA code and local fire code. It features two 4 in. NPT connections, and automatically operates when pressure drops or flows reverse.
