Flanged NRS Gate Valve with Handwheel | Lansdale™
The Lansdale™ Flanged NRS (Non-Rising Stem) Gate Valve with Handwheel is engineered for fire protection and water distribution systems that require direct flange connections with a traditional manual actuation method. Its non-rising stem design keeps the stem movement internal—suitable for installations with limited vertical clearance or subterranean vaults.
Operated via a handwheel, this valve allows intuitive, manual control for opening and closing. Internally, it employs a resilient seated, EPDM-encapsulated wedge and is sealed by a triple O-ring stem configuration to ensure tight shutoff and long-lasting leak resistance. The flanged ends conform to ANSI B16.1, Class 125 (or 150, depending on variant), enabling secure integration with standard fire system piping.
Manufactured to meet AWWA C515 standards and UL listed/ FM approved for fire service, the valve is also dipped in fusion-bonded epoxy inside and out per AWWA C550 to resist corrosion and improve longevity.
