Flanged NRS Gate Valve with Operating Nut | Lansdale™
The Lansdale™ Flanged NRS (Non-Rising Stem) Gate Valve with Operating Nut is designed for fire protection and water service systems where direct flanged connections are required. The valve features a non-rising stem—keeping all vertical movement internal—for installations with limited clearance.
Actuation is handled via a square operating nut, suitable for wrench or key operation in vaults, underground chambers, or restricted access areas. Internally, the valve utilizes a resilient seated, EPDM-encapsulated wedge and triple O-ring stem seal to achieve tight shutoff and durability in fire system environments. The flanged ends conform to ANSI B16.1, Class 125 (or Class 150 depending on the variant), enabling straightforward mating with standard flanged piping.
Manufactured in accordance with AWWA C515 standards and UL / FM listed for fire protection service, this valve is epoxy coated inside and out per AWWA C550 to resist corrosion and extend service life.
