In-Line Check Valves 2 in. for Fire Protection Systems
This 2 in. NPT durable cast brass In-Line Check Valve is ready for service in water-based systems, specifically fire protection/fire sprinkler systems and standpipes. With a rated working water pressure of 200 PSI, this valve provides a watertight defense against pollution & contamination caused by backflow. This check valve can be installed vertically or horizontally on a supply line or fire department connection (FDC) in accordance with NFPA code and local fire code. It features two 2 in. NPT (National Pipe Thread) connections, with a stainless-steel clapper that only opens when water flow exceeds the manufacturer minimum pressure of 2 PSI.
