1-1/2 in. Swing Check Valves for Fire Protection Systems
This 1-1/2 in. NPT x NPT durable cast brass Swing Check Valve is ready for service in water-based systems, specifically fire protection/fire sprinkler systems and standpipes. With a rated working water pressure of 200 PSI, and a Water Oil Gas Pressure of 200 WOG, this valve features a clapper assembly with a swinging brass disk and water-ready rubber that forms a watertight seal when water flows in reverse. This check valve can be installed vertically or horizontally on a supply line, and is especially advantageous in commercial, industrial, and large residential buildings where potential pollution or contamination of potable water exists.
