This Reliable™ Model F1FR56 Upright Fire Sprinkler is a standard coverage Upright fire sprinkler head, activating at 155F (68C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and is rated for Light and Ordinary Hazard occupancies. Each Upright head features a heat-sensitive glass bulb assembly, standard 1/2 in. NPT threads, and a brass frame with a brass/bronze deflector.
This is a quick response, standard coverage, Upright sprinkler with a maximum working water pressure of 250 PSI (17 BAR) (cULus only). The RA1425 Model F1FR56 Sprinkler features a low profile and compact design. Using a heat-activated glass bulb assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach the sprinkler’s listed activation temperature, drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

When using Reliable™ Upright Sprinkler RA1425 for systems designed to NFPA 13, apply the listed areas of coverage and minimum water supply requirements shown in the manufacturer datasheet. This Upright sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 250 PSI (17 BAR) and connects to wet piping systems.
Reliable™ F1FR56 (RA1425) Upright Sprinkler Installation and Other Information
The RA1425 Upright Sprinkler is installed exposed in the Upright orientation. Refer to the manufacturer data sheet for installation instructions with the approved Reliable™ accessories. During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional installation and storage information.
Available finish options include Brass, Chrome, and White.
White Polyester Finish (White) is UL Listed as corrosion resistant.
Temperature options include 135F (57C), 155F (68C), 175F (79C), 200F (93C), and 286F (141C). Finish and temperature combinations available in the “Options” section at the top of this product page.
The RA1425 listed wrenches include the approved Reliable™ Model W2, Model W14 (New frame with guard installed), and Model W13 (Legacy frame with guard installed). Add the correct wrench for your RA1425 installation. Sprinklers with Legacy frames require an alternative W13 wrench for proper installation.

Prevent accidental activation or damage to your RA1425 sprinkler by installing the appropriate head guard and ensure the timely activation of your intermediate Upright sprinkler head by installing an appropriate water shield.
