Senju™ CN-RES (SS8421) Residential Concealed Pendent Sprinkler
This Senju™ Model CN-RES Residential Concealed Pendent fire sprinkler features a fusible link activating at 162F (72C) with a 4.9 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each concealed pendent sprinkler head features a Copper Alloy Body and Deflector. This sprinkler was designed to be covered by a Senju™ CN cover plate, allowing for optimal aesthetics within residential settings. The Model CN-RES Residential Sprinkler delivers decorative, affordable defense against fire and is designed for use in residential occupancies such as homes, apartments, dormitories, and hotels. The SS8421 is a residential sprinkler and is cULus listed for use when installed in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements for wet pipe sprinkler systems and designed for use in residential occupancies. This concealed pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) UL Listed and connects to ceiling wet piping systems.
Senju™ CN-RES (SS8421) Residential Concealed Fire Sprinkler Head Installation and Other Information
During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.
This flat concealed sprinkler head is available at a temperature of 162F (72C) and must be paired with a Senju™ CN Cover Plate. These 140F cover plates come in a variety of finishes: White, Ivory, Nickel, Beige, Brown, Black, and multiple Wood Grain options. Along with the required Cover Plate, SS8421 listed accessories include the VC-H socket wrench, manufacturer part number (90000-003-0300) and the CN Cap Removal tool, manufacturer part number (90000-003-2000).
