Senju FR-QR (SS2552) Upright Sprinkler Head Quick Response

This Senju Model FR-QR Quick Response Brass Upright Fire Sprinkler features a fusible link activating at 162F (72C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each quick response head features a DZR brass frame. The manufacturer part number is 002-5571 and the Sprinkler Identification Number (SIN) is SS2552.

The Model FR-QR Upright Sprinkler delivers effective, affordable defense against fire in light or ordinary-temperature applications. Using a heat-activated fusible metal assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 162F (72C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

Each FR-QR sprinkler is made by Senju, Japan's largest manufacturer of fire-suppression products. This upright fire sprinkler head maintains UL Listing and is FM Approved.

The SS2552 is a quick response standard coverage sprinkler and is cULus listed and FM approved for use when installed in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements for wet pipe sprinkler systems and designed for use in Commercial occupancies. This upright sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) FM and UL Listed and connects to ceiling wet piping systems.

Senju FR-QR (SS2552) Upright Sprinkler Head Installation and Other Information

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.

This upright sprinkler features a brass finish and a 162F (72C) temperature. Available finish options include Brass, White, Black, and Chrome.
