Tyco ESFR-25 (TY9226) Pendent ESFR Fire Sprinkler Head

This Tyco ESFR-25 Brass Pendent Early Suppression Fast Response Fire Sprinkler features a fusible link activating at 212F (100C) with a 25.2 K-Factor, and 1 in. NPT threads. Each pendent head features a brass frame and bronze deflector. The manufacturer part number is 58-441-1-212 and the Sprinkler Identification Number (SIN) is TY9226.

The ESFR-25 Pendent Sprinklers are suppression mode sprinklers that are especially advantageous as a means of eliminating in-rack sprinklers when protecting high-piled storage. These sprinklers are primarily used for, but not limited to, protections of encapsulated or non-encapsulated common materials, cartoned and unexpanded plastics, uncartoned and expanded plastics, and some storage arrangements of rubber tires, roll paper, flammable liquids, aerosols, and automotive components. Using a heat-activated fusible link assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 212F (100C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

Each Tyco ESFR-25 sprinkler is made by Tyco, a global leader in fire-suppression products. This ESFR upright fire sprinkler head is UL and C-UL Listed, FM Approved, VdS Approved, NYC Approved (MEA 356-01-E), LPCB Certified (094b, 0071) and EAC Approved.

The TY9226 is an Early Suppression Fast Response sprinkler and is listed for use when installed in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements for wet pipe sprinkler systems and designed for use in high-piled storage areas. This pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) FM and connects to wet piping systems.

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.
