Viking Dry Sprinkler Head Guard Standard, ELO Upright/Pendent/VSW Fire Sprinklers
This Viking fire sprinkler head guard helps protect fire sprinklers from impact damage from a variety of causes in a variety of settings – flying balls in a gym, forklifts in a warehouse, or vandalism in an arena. This Dry sprinkler head guard can be installed during or after initial installation, but it is recommended to install the guard prior to installing the sprinklers themselves. Made of a durable steel wire with a chrome finish, these guards, sometimes called fire sprinkler cages, protect from light to hard hits to prevent damage and/or accidental activation in dry fire sprinklers.
This specific head guard for use with Viking Standard Dry and Dry ELO Upright/Pendent/Vertical Sidewall fire sprinklers. Other Viking head guards may be compatible with different sprinklers. See product options on this page for all available versions of this head guard.
Any place with a high risk for impact/damage to a protruding fire sprinkler is recommended to have a head guard. That typically includes hotels, schools, gyms, warehouses, or any place with low headroom or clearance.
