This Upright sprinkler features a Brass finish and 286F (141C) temperature.
This Viking™ MicrofastHP Upright Fire Sprinkler is a quick response, standard coverage upright fire sprinkler head, activating at 286F (141C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and is rated for Light and Ordinary Hazard occupancies. Each Upright head features a heat-sensitive glass bulb assembly, standard 1/2 in. NPT threads, and a brass frame with a brass deflector.
This is a Viking™ high pressure upright sprinkler with a maximum working water pressure of 250 PSI (17 BAR). The VK315 MicrofastHP Sprinkler offers reliable fire protection with a sleek, unobtrusive profile. Using a heat-activated glass bulb assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach the sprinkler’s listed activation temperature, drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

When using Viking™ Upright Sprinkler VK315 for systems designed to NFPA standards, apply the listed areas of coverage and minimum water supply requirements shown in the manufacturer datasheet. This Upright sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 250 PSI (17 BAR) and connects to wet piping systems.
Viking™ (VK315) MicrofastHP Upright Sprinkler Installation and Other Information
The VK315 Upright Sprinkler is exposed in the Upright orientation. Refer to the manufacturer data sheet for installation instructions with the approved Viking™ accessories. During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional installation and storage information.
Available finish options include Brass, Chrome, White, and Black.
Temperature options include 155F (68C), 175F (79C), 200F (93C), 286F (141C).
The VK315 listed wrenches include the approved Viking™ Standard Sprinkler Wrench (21475M/B). Add the correct wrench for your VK315 Upright installation! Commonly purchased with fire sprinkler head cabinets and sprinkler shut off tools.
