This galvanized steel hex bushing facilitates a connection between 3/8 in. and 1/4 in. NPT piping. Each steel hex bushing uses larger 3/8 in. male NPT threads and smaller 1/4 in. female NPT threads to connect piping of varying sizes or act as a reducer in a fire sprinkler system.
