Reliable Model F156 Standard Response Pendent (RA1314) Fire Sprinkler Head

This Reliable Model F156 Pendent Fire Sprinkler is a standard coverage pendent sprinkler, activating at 135F (57C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and is rated for Light and Ordinary Hazard occupancies. Each pendent head features a heat-sensitive glass bulb assembly, standard 1/2 in. NPT threads, and a brass frame with a brass/bronze deflector.

This is a standard response, standard coverage, pendent sprinkler with a maximum working water pressure of 250 PSI (17 BAR). The RA1314 Model F156 Sprinkler features a durable and low-profile appearance.

Using a heat-activated glass bulb assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 135F (57C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin. The RA1314 is installed exposed or recessed using one of Reliable’s adjustable F1 escutcheons, offering flexibility of installation, inspection, and testing without shutting down your fire sprinkler system. When using Reliable Pendent Sprinkler RA1314 for systems designed to NFPA 13, apply the listed areas of coverage and minimum water supply requirements shown in the manufacturer datasheet. This pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 250 PSI (17 BAR) and connects to wet piping systems.

Viking F156 (RA1314) Pendent Sprinkler Installation and Other Information

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional installation and storage information.

This pendent sprinkler features a Brass finish and 135F (68C) temperature. Available finish options include Brass, Chrome, White, and Black. White Polyester Finish (White), and Black Polyester Finish (Black) are UL Listed as corrosion resistant. Temperature options include 135F (57C), 155F (68C), 200F (93C), 286F (141C), 360F (182C). The RA1314 listed accessories include the approved Viking Standard Wrench (part no. 21475M/B), Viking Recessed Socket Wrench (part no. 13655W/B), and the approved Viking E-1, E-2, or E-3 recessed sprinkler head Escutcheon(s).
