2-1/2 in. NST Hydrant Test Cap

This 2-1/2 in. NST Hydrant Test Cap is designed for Static Pressure Tests of Fire Hydrants up to 50 PSI. Made of Brass, this cap features a 2-1/2 in. National Standard Thread (NST) connection with a 1/4 in. National Pipe Thread (NPT) inlet. This 1/4 in. NPT inlet is designed to connect to a bleeder valve so pressure does not build up and damage the attached gauge. This 2-1/2 in. Brass Test Cap is compatible with our full line of 1/4 in. bleeder valves designed for static pressure tests. Single-ball-valve bleeders allow users to direct flow to a pressure gauge or to a bleeder using only one ball valve, while double-ball-valve bleeders use two ball valves to control gauge and discharge outlets separately.
