This Pendent dry-type sprinkler features a Natural Brass finish and a 155°F (68°C) temperature rating and comes with a Signal White escutcheon.

The Tyco™ Series DS-1 Pendent Dry Fire Sprinkler is a standard response, standard coverage sprinkler featuring a 5.6 K-Factor. It incorporates a 5 mm glass bulb, 1 in. NPT threads, and a bronze frame with a copper deflector. This model is dry-type, with an extended barrel (18 in. order length) designed for areas where part of the system may be exposed to freezing temperatures.

This sprinkler is ideal for wet and dry systems where drops or extensions pass into unheated spaces. It activates when ambient temperatures reach 155°F and can help suppress and contain fires before they spread. The Series DS-1 model 60-961-1-180 connects to the system via 1 in. NPT and is pressure rated up to 175 PSI (12.1 BAR).

Listings and Approvals

The TY3255 is UL, C-UL, FM, LPCB, VdS, and CE approved when installed per Tyco™’s manufacturer data sheet. Always consult the datasheet for full listing limitations, especially for recessed or angled installations.

Installation and Accessories

Use the W-Type 7 Sprinkler Wrench during installation. Apply a maximum torque of 30 ft-lb to avoid thread or body damage. Model 60-961-1-180 is compatible with the standard Tyco™ push-on escutcheon.
