MECH™ H44X2 Flanged Resilient Swing Check Valve
The MECH™ Check Valve is a flanged swing check valve intended for fire sprinkler system service, where maintaining one-way flow helps protect overall system reliability. In fire protection piping, reverse flow can contribute to unwanted drainage, unstable pressures, and added stress on connected equipment and system components. A swing check valve uses a hinged clapper that opens with forward flow and closes when flow stops or begins to reverse, helping limit backflow and supporting steady system conditions during normal operation, inspection activity, and testing. This valve is manufactured with a durable ASTM A536, 65-45-12 Ductile Iron body for strength and long service life in demanding water-service environments, and it is supplied with a high-visibility Red finish to support identification in risers, valve assemblies, and mechanical room installations.
