This Reliable™ Model F1-56 Horizontal sidewall Fire Sprinkler is a standard coverage, horizontal sidewall fire sprinkler head, activating at 175F (79C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and is rated for Light and Ordinary Hazard occupancies. Each horizontal sidewall head features a heat-sensitive glass bulb assembly, standard 1/2 in. NPT threads, and a brass frame with a brass/bronze deflector.
This is a standard response, standard coverage, horizontal sidewall sprinkler with a maximum working water pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR). The RA1335 Model F156 Sprinkler features a durable and low-profile appearance. Using a heat-activated glass bulb assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 175F (79C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.
The RA1335 is installed exposed, surface mounted, or recessed. Listed for Light and Ordinary Hazard when installed exposed or surface mounted. Listed for Light Hazard ONLY when installed recessed. When installed properly, this RA1335 fire sprinkler head maintains listings and approvals: cULus Listed, FM Approved Refer to the datasheet for listings and approvals in specific temperatures and/or applications.
When using Reliable™ Horizontal sidewall Sprinkler RA1335 for systems designed to NFPA 13, apply the listed areas of coverage and minimum water supply requirements shown in the manufacturer datasheet. This horizontal sidewall sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12 BAR) and connects to wet piping systems.
Reliable™ F156 (RA1335) Horizontal Sidewall Sprinkler Installation and Other Information
During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional installation and storage information.
Available finishes include Brass, Chrome, and White. White Polyester Finish (White is UL Listed as corrosion resistant. Temperature options include 135F (57C), 155F (68C), 175F (79C), 200F (93C), 286F (141C), 360F (182C), and 500F (260C). The RA1335 listed wrenches include the approved Reliable™ Model W2 (horizontal), Model W4 (recessed), Model W14 (New frame with guard installed), and Model W13 (Legacy frame with guard installed). Add the correct wrench for your RA1335 installation. Sprinklers with Legacy frames require an alternative W13 wrench for proper installation.
