The Reliable™ KFR80 Upright fire sprinkler (SIN RA5422) is a quick response, standard spray sprinkler designed for dependable fire protection in approved light and ordinary hazard applications. Part number KFR80U2B uses a nominal 8.0 K-factor (115 metric) and a 212°F (100°C) intermediate temperature-rated fusible link operating element, paired with a brass finish for a clean, traditional metallic appearance in exposed installations.
In operation, the sprinkler’s heat-responsive fusible link releases at its rated temperature, allowing water to discharge through the upright body and strike the deflector to create a uniform standard spray pattern intended to help control fire growth. The sprinkler installs with a 3/4" NPT connection (ISO 7-1 R3/4 optional) and is built with durable components for long-term reliability in wet-pipe systems when installed and maintained to applicable codes and the manufacturer’s instructions.
