The Reliable™ KFR80 Upright fire sprinkler (SIN RA5422) is a quick response, standard spray sprinkler designed to provide dependable fire protection in approved light and ordinary hazard applications. Part number KFR80U1W combines a nominal 8.0 K-factor (115 metric) with a 165°F (74°C) temperature-rated fusible link operating element and a white polyester finish, making it a strong choice for spaces where fast thermal response and a clean, low-visibility appearance are preferred.
During a fire event, the heat-responsive fusible link releases at its rated temperature, allowing water to discharge through the upright body and strike the deflector to form a uniform standard spray pattern intended to help control fire growth and support effective system performance. The sprinkler installs using a 3/4" NPT connection (ISO 7-1 R3/4 optional) and is built with durable materials for long-term reliability in wet-pipe systems when installed and maintained per applicable codes and manufacturer instructions.
