The Reliable™ KFR80 Upright fire sprinkler (SIN RA5422) is a quick response, standard spray sprinkler engineered for dependable fire protection in approved light and ordinary hazard applications. Part number KFR80U1C combines a nominal 8.0 K-factor (115 metric) with a 165°F (74°C) temperature-rated fusible link operating element and a chrome-plated finish, making it well suited for exposed installations where corrosion resistance and a bright, clean appearance are preferred.
In operation, the heat-responsive fusible link releases at its rated temperature, allowing water to discharge through the upright body and strike the deflector to create a uniform standard spray pattern intended to help control fire growth and support effective system performance. The sprinkler installs using a 3/4" NPT connection (ISO 7-1 R3/4 optional) and is designed for use in wet-pipe sprinkler systems when installed, inspected, and maintained in accordance with applicable codes, NFPA standards, and the authority having jurisdiction.
