Senju CN-QR (SS9521) Commercial Flat Concealed Pendent

This Senju Model CN-QR Commercial Flat Concealed Pendent fire sprinkler features a fusible link activating at 205F (96C) with a 5.6 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each concealed pendent sprinkler head features a Copper Alloy Body and Phosphor Bronze Deflector. This sprinkler was designed to be covered by a Senju CN cover plate, allowing for optimal aesthetics within commercial settings. The manufacturer part number is 002-0802 and the Sprinkler Identification Number (SIN) is SS9521.

The Model CN-QR Commercial Sprinkler delivers decorative, affordable defense against fire and is designed for use in commercial fire sprinkler systems. Using a heat-activated fusible metal assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 205F (96C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin.

Each CN-QR sprinkler is made by Senju, Japan's largest manufacturer of fire-suppression products. This flat concealed fire sprinkler head maintains UL Listing as Quick Response and is FM Approved as Standard Response.

The SS9521 is a commercial sprinkler and is cULus listed for use when installed in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements for wet pipe sprinkler systems and designed for use in commercial settings. This concealed pendent sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) UL Listed and FM Approved and connects to wet pipe sprinkler systems.

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.

This flat concealed sprinkler head is available at two temperatures: 162F (72C) and 205F (96C) (UL Listed only) and must be paired with a Senju CN Cover Plate. These 140F cover plates come in a variety of finishes: White, Ivory, Nickel, Beige, Brown, Black, and multiple Wood Grain options, while the 162F comes only in White.
