Victaulic FireLock FL-RES/SW (V2738) Residential Horizontal Sidewall Fire Sprinkler Head

This Victaulic FL-RES/SW White Residential Horizontal Sidewall Fire Sprinkler features a glass bulb activating at 175F (79C) with a 4.2 K-Factor, and 1/2 in. NPT threads. Each sidewall head features a brass frame and bronze deflector. The manufacturer part number is S271LEQA41, and the Sprinkler Identification Number (SIN) is V2738. In 2019, Victaulic purchased fire sprinkler company Globe. The Globe Equivalent to this sprinkler is GL4231.

Using a heat-activated glass bulb assembly, this automatic fire sprinkler opens when ambient temperatures reach 175F (79C), drenching the area surrounding a fire to keep it in its place of origin. The V2738 is a residential sprinkler and is cULus listed for use when installed in accordance with NFPA 13 requirements for wet pipe sprinkler systems and designed for use in residential occupancies. This horizontal sidewall sprinkler head has a maximum working pressure of 175 PSI (12.1 BAR) UL and connects to wet piping systems. This model has a 4.2 K-factor, enabling smaller pipe sizes and water supply in a residential fire sprinkler system.

Victaulic FL-RES/SW (V2738) Sidewall Head Sprinkler Installation and Other Information

During installation be aware that over tightening will cause permanent damage to the 1/2 in. NPT threads and/or the fire sprinklers themselves. Use the manufacturer approved installation wrench and tighten to a maximum torque of 14 ft-lb (19 N-m). Refer to the data sheet for additional storage and installation information.

This sidewall sprinkler features a white finish and a 175F (79C) temperature. Available finish options include Brass, Chrome, White, and Black. White Polyester Painted (White) and Flat Black Polyester Painted (Black) are UL Listed as corrosion resistant. Temperature options include 155F (68C) or 175F (79C).
